Ms. Zibart’s work encompasses plays, articles, screenplays, and books for children. Her play The Jewel in the Manuscript about Fyodor Dostoevsky was winner of the 2009 Icicle Creek Theater Festival in Seattle. Babe, Inc. was a festival winner in London, Denver and New York. “The Call”, “Bastard”, “Auction” and “Limbido” were produced in Benchwarmers. Never Ever Land and My Dear Doctor are award-winning plays for youth. She also helped produce a series of monologues called Minds Interrupted: Stories of Lives Affected by Mental Illness and created a website for people growing up with a parent with mental illness: www.thecrookedhouse.org. Her new middle-grade chapter book TRUE BRIT, Beatrice, 1940 about an English girl who comes to Santa Fe to escape bombing in London is the first in a series about children dislocated by WWII.
