Documentary On Photographer Dorthea Lange Premiers On NMPBS

The photograph "Migrant Mother" is one of the most recognized and captivating images in the world. The image has represented the suffering of America's Great Depression. Yet few know the story, struggles and impressive body of work of the woman behind the camera: Dorothea Lange.

KUNM's Chris Boros spoke with Dyanna Taylor, Santa Fe resident, filmmaker, five-time Emmy award-winning cinematographer and Lange’s granddaughter. She's behind the documentary film Dorothea Lange: Grab A Hunk of Lightning premiering on NMPBS on Friday August 29, 2014 at 9p.
