A New Voice In Congress: Deb Haaland On Women's Focus

Sat. 12/8 12p: Deb Haaland, one of the first two Native American women (along with Sharice Davids) to be elected to Congress, joins Carol Boss for a live interview.
Stories from the campaign trail and freshman orientation in D.C. as well as conversation about her priorities in Congress and more...Deb Haaland is going to serve in leadership for the Freshman Class.  She was elected Freshman Class Representative to the House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee, House Democratic Region VI Whip (Texas, New Mexico and Arizona) and appointed as Deputy Whip for the Congressional Progressive Caucus.

Award winning poet Lauren Camp also joins Carol Boss  later on in the show to talk about her new book of poetry, "Turquoise Door: Finding Mabel Dodge Luhan in New Mexico".
