Quetzal

Mon. 2/18 7:30p: Today, we’ll be joined by Quetzal Flores, co-leader of LA-based Quetzal. Well known and loved in New Mexico, Quetzal just won a Grammy Award for Best Latin Alternative, Urban, or Rock Album, for Imaginaries, released on Smithsonian Folkways (www.folkways.si.edu). We’ll be celebrating with Quetzal and listening to some of their music. Then later on in the program, we will be joined by José Miguel Acosta, back in New Mexico with a lot of Reggae en Español that he will  share with us.
