Mon. 6/1 7p: An interview with refugees Gised Aboy-Reina (Cuba) and Sanaa Yagoob (Irak) along with Beatrice Villegas, Program Director of the Center for Refugee Settlement and Support (Catholic Charities, New Mexico). We´ll talk about how their life is since they arrived as refugees in New Mexico.
This year´s celebration of World Refugee Day will take place at the Cesar Chavez Community Center, on Saturday, June 20th (11:30am-3pm; 7505 Kathryn SE, Albuquerque), organized by Catholic Charities, Little Globe, Lutheran Family Services, New Mexico Asian Family Services and the City of Albuquerque.
