Meditations For A Peaceful Mind
The Stages of the Path to Enlightenment, or “Lamrim” in Tibetan, is a practical presentation of Buddhist teachings, which is designed to help us improve our own good qualities and lead us to the mind of Enlightenment. Through the kindness and wisdom of Buddhist Master Atisha, all 84,000 teachings of Buddha were consolidated into the Lamrim. The Lamrim are 21 essential meditations that allow us to practice all of Buddha’s teachings in a systematic, effective manner, fitting perfectly into our busy modern life.
In this class, we will gain experience with this profound sequence of meditations, progressing step-by-step, leading us to deeper and deeper levels of inner peace and wisdom. We will then learn how to carry these determinations and insights into our daily life to effect positive change. The emphasis in this series will be how to make our meditation practice effective and joyful.
