Nov 4, 2019

11/3 7p: This week, we hear from people working for social change through academia and music. First, youth producer Emilio Bauvallet sits down with Albuquerque hip-hop artist Wake Self for an exclusive introduction to his new album, Ready to Live. Wake shares what inspires him and his advice to New Mexico youth!

Then, we hear a presentation from Professor Marí Castañeda, Associate Dean for Equity and Inclusion at the University of Amherst Massachusetts. Professor Castañeda recently presented her research, “Civic Engagement in Diverse Latinx Communities: Learning from Social Justice Partnerships in Action,” at UNM.
