While there have been troubling stories about the plight of immigrants seeking to enter the US via Texas and other border states, there are many who enter in New Mexico. A joint effort of state: medical, and children's services, along with nonprofits, and just some individuals, have been dealing with those immigrants. According to Bryce Pittenger, CYFD, horror stories are being avoided. Here is also some information from the Governor's office-
