Thu. 12/6 11a: When he was growing up playing Indian and reenacting scenes from Hollywood movies, Roger Welsch never dreamed that his life-long fascination with Native American culture would lead him on a journey of self-discovery and a vast knowledge of Native culture. A self-proclaimed member of the Wannabe Tribe and an adjunct professor of anthropology, Welsch talks of his trip down the Red Road with humility and humor and says that the more he learns about Native culture the more he learns about himself. Welsch has been adopted by members of the Omaha and Pawnee tribes.

What does it say about a person's own culture if they choose to follow another race? Can we find out who we really are as Natives by learning about another race?

Guests include Roger Welsch, Author of "Embracing Frybread: Confessions of a Wannabe".
