On Sunday, April 4th, KUNM's Radio Theater presents Flower Power: The Adventure Begins by Wil Anderson and Dandelion Wishes by Leslie Barker. In Flower Power, a shifty local tv weatherman conspires to take a magic water bottle that can make it rain, away from a little girl, in an attempt to make, rather than report on, the weather. In Dandelion Wishes, a modern take on the Cinderella story, a young girl searches for her talent while suffering at the hands of her tone-deaf stepmother and crass step-siblings. But an impulsive wish on a dandelion introduces her to her magical, brassy, Southern fairy godmother, who might just hold the key to her self-discovery.
