On Sunday, January 24th at 6:00pm MST, KUNM's Radio Theater will present Hour One of FRONTIERS, based on the true stories of women on the American frontier. The play is a series of vignettes that take place between 1840 and 1890. They tell of the heartbreak, love, loss, and determination that these women experienced as they made new lives for themselves and their families. Written by Valery Daemke, Doreen Dunn, Kathleen Gaffney, and Nancy Sellin, FRONTIERS was first presented in October, 2020 by the Adobe Theater in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
