Hugs And Kisses: Tender To All Gender

Thurs. 2/14 1:30p:  Brandon Kennedy welcomes a number of musicians and guest DJs to explore how love and sexuality express our humanity from a variety of perspectives. Hunter Riley is a sex educator and director of education, outreach and classes at Self Serve Sexuality Resource Center, which is a sex-positive, health- and education focused adult shop and resource center. Hunter and the Self Serve staff will cook up some music sets that will launch some interesting conversation.  

Musicians Gena Lawson, Christian Newman, Eliza Scott and Austin Torrez will be will be live in the studio with songs featured in the Valentine's day show at the Launchpad - Covers By Lovers . And finally, music selection and conversation with Adrian Lawyer, the co-founder and co-director of the Transgender Resource Center Of New Mexico (www.tgrcnm.org). Content of this show may not be appropriate for all listeners.

 

Tristan began his career in public radio in 1988 as a reggae show host and programming assistant at KNMS-FM in Las Cruces, New Mexico. In the decade that followed, he worked as a public television producer and as an assignment editor for the Albuquerque NBC affiliate. Tristan graduated from the University of New Mexico in 1992 with a degree in political science. He has won numerous awards for reporting and anchoring from both the Arizona and the New Mexico Associated Press.
