This Session features Javier Ortega in solo performance. After making his mark locally as a guitarist & singer in a wide range of bands, Ortega left for 13 months of work & writing in Chile. He returned to Albuquerque a different kind of songwriter & quickly assembled a team of top local artists for an Outpost show that was released as the album "10 Years And a Day."
Here he gives us solo versions of three of those songs & talks about his sojourn, the importance of the Hummingbird & Full Circle Productions music camps in assembling that one-night-only band, & where he heads next.
