She has co-written an authoritative and beautiful guide describing over 350 wildflowers and flowering shrubs that grow in the state's Sangre de Cristo, Jemez, Sandia and Manzano Mountains. Pearl has led countless wildflower hikes for the U.S. Forest Service and the Albuquerque Open Space program.
