In today's first theme-based set, Whazzup?, we'll be spinning our favorite "up" songs featuring a diverse range of artists, including The Uptight People, Delbert McClinton, Michelle Shocked, Big City, Prozak for Lovers and others. We'll follow that set with Get Down. An assortment of "down" tunes from Bovine, Sam Roberts, Texas Ruby, Don Redman & His Orchestra and other performers of note. In our final theme-driven set, Alabama, a handpicked collection of songs about the Yellowhammer state. Artists include Billie Holliday, Mariachi Garibaldi, The Smoke Fairies, Randy Newman and others.
