Raíces

Raíces is a KUNM Volunteer Collective dedicated to bring listeners the rich and diverse Latin American, Chicano and Hispano musical roots and alternative culture, rhythms, instruments and singers or musical groups. From our particular life experience we all have an individual passion and love to share such songs and musical pieces you won’t hear anywhere else.

Raíces Shows air Mondays 7:30 to 10 pm, Saturdays 2 to 5 pm. “Salsa Sabrosa” is also brought to you by Raíces Collective Fridays 7 to 10 pm; and “Corazón Tanguero” every other Saturday 4:15 to 4:45 pm.

“Espejos de Aztlán”, is a weekly half hour interview segment, every Monday 7 – 7:30 pm dedicated to bring you local news and cultural/political discussions affecting our Latino/Chicano/Hispano New Mexican communities from a social justice perspective.
