The Children's Hour, 10/12 Sat 9a: Does an animal have to be adorable to be appreciated? How do under appreciated animals like snakes, bugs, lizards and other critters that humans consider pests, fit into the web of life? Our friend Bethany Dunn, Science Education Coordinator from the Albuquerque Biopark will bring some misunderstood species to our studio to help us learn to love them.

Laurel Ladwig will explain how citizen scientists just like you help collect the data we need to better understand animal populations. The Children's Hour, Sat 5/26 9a: It’s officially summer break this Saturday on The Children’s Hour Radio Show,  so to have a great party, we have a live mini concert with the kids in Sonyk Vortex. Plus, 4th graders who are in the Wild Friends Program are coming on the show to talk about pollinators and the Bee City Pollination Celebration in Albuquerque. Bee sure you don’t miss it!
