The Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival's 40th Anniversary

Fri. 7/06 10a:  This special half-hour edition of Performance New Mexico looks at the 40th anniversary season of the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival.  Host Spencer Beckwith is joined by Artistic Director Marc Neikrug, for a look at the musical elements of the Festival, and by Dr. Cheryl Willman, head of UNM’s Cancer Center, for a description of the Festival’s scientific symposium, “Music, the Brain, Medicine and Wellness.”

Spencer Beckwith
Spencer Beckwith reports on the arts for KUNM. For ten years, until March of 2014, Spencer was the producer and host of KUNM's "Performance New Mexico," a weekday morning arts program that included interviews with musicians, writers and performers. Spencer is a graduate of the acting program at the Juilliard School, and, before moving to New Mexico in 2002, was for many years a professional actor based in New York City.
