Working Classroom Presents "Dreamlandia"

Fri. 8/9 10a:  Albuquerque's Working Classroom celebrates its 25th anniversary with a production of "Dreamlandia," Latino playwright Octavio Solis's contemporary re-imagining of Calderon de la Barca's 17th century Spanish classic, "Life is a Dream."  "Dreamlandia" is on stage at Working Classroom’s Art Center in Barelas from August 10 through August 25.  Spencer Beckwith talks with the director of the production, Monica Sanchez, Working Classroom's Artistic Director.

Spencer Beckwith reports on the arts for KUNM. For ten years, until March of 2014, Spencer was the producer and host of KUNM's "Performance New Mexico," a weekday morning arts program that included interviews with musicians, writers and performers. Spencer is a graduate of the acting program at the Juilliard School, and, before moving to New Mexico in 2002, was for many years a professional actor based in New York City.
