Thu. 09/25 11a: World leaders meet this week in New York for the United Nation's Climate Summit 2014. They will discuss climate change agreements that include decreasing the number of trees cut down around the world and boosting the use of renewable energy. Leaders have until next year to make agreements that would be enforced in 2020. Is this global conversation including Indigenous communities, including our tribes in the United States? What would make a difference for our Native communities? Are your leaders taking action to address global climate change?
