8/18 7pm: On this special edition of Generation justice, enjoy a lecture from the U.S. Senator Dennis Chavez Endowed Lectureship/Symposium on Law and Civil Rights, featuring Professor Alvaro Bedoya, founding director of the Center on Privacy & Technology at Georgetown Law.

Professor Bedoya is an expert on government surveillance, commercial data collection, and their impact on immigrants and people of color.

After the lecture, Media Justice intern, Barbara Ramirez speaks with Professor Bedoya to discuss surveillance and ways that communities can protect themselves in a time of increased hostility towards immigrants and people of color.
