Asylum Granted For Mexican Human Rights Activist

El Paso, TX – The U.S. government has granted asylum to a Mexican human rights activist who claimed she was threatened by the Mexican military. From the Changing America Desk, Monica Ortiz Uribe reports the announcement was made during a bi-national peace march in El Paso.
