Having children has a profound effect on parents. Not just socially and economically – but physically, like, in our brain chemistry. Commentator Andrea Mays says she is trying to be a better parent this year, despite being catapulted into emotions that vacillate between ecstasy and Dante’s Inferno, often in 10 seconds flat.
