Sat. 8/17 10p: The Psychedelic Radio Head~Shoppe celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Woodstock Music & Arts Festival.  We’ll play your favorites from the Woodstock movie soundtrack, plus many previously unreleased performances from the iconic Festival, and we’ll share remembrances from Woodstock attendees! The Head~Shoppe’s Cosmic Poet will drop by to read some thoughts on the Woodstock vibe! Join us for a three hour journey through the garden that brought the social, political and musical dimensions of the Sixties into focus for one long beautiful weekend!

Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico! I grew up in a household that loved music. When I was 14 going on 15 years of age, I began listening to KUNM. It was this experience that cemented my love for radio and especially the free-form nature of the DJ’s production. Daily I discovered new musical artists that just had to be added to my personal music library. Wherever I have traveled, I have sought out ‘good radio stations’ to satisfy my quest to hear and collect great music!
