Sat. 10/10 New Mexico.-Adelaide (Addy) Monet Holman will travel from Roswell, New Mexico to Denver to model in this year's Be Beautiful Be Yourself fashion show event, which raises funding for Down syndrome research.
The 2015 event will feature 20 models of all ages with Down syndrome, escorted by actor Terrence Howard and other celebrities. Past events have raised more than $9.5 million for research into Down syndrome as well as an awareness of the abilities of people with Down syndrome. Addy will be fitted for the clothes she will wear when she reaches Denver, but she has her heart set on a red dress.
