6/13, NM.-With Lands and Lives in Galisteo since 1814, Pueblo Chico, Lucy Lippard illuminates the place where she has lived for more than 25 years.

"It (history) will always be fluid and unsettling." Lippard said in the book. She interviewed the families of the original settlers as well as others. "I did my best to get 'la gente' into the book. There's far less documentation....It's much harder."----looking at history as a "great tangle of stories from different points of view." Lippard was named a "major contributor to the arts" in 2018 with a Governor's Award for Excellence in the Arts.
