MP3 Stream (Internet "Radio")
Our MP3 stream is suitable for use in any MP3 software player, internet "radio" applications, iTunes and iPhones, etc.
|
Quicktime Stream Information
Our Quicktime stream requires the Quicktime 4 or Quicktime 5 player. It is available in two bandwidths -- a slower, 28k, stream for visitors with modems in their computers, and a faster, 128k stream, for visitors who have DSL, cable or broadband internet access.
Don't have the Quicktime player? It's free for Mac and Windows. It's also a handy player to have so that you can view some of the video and QTVR (immersive panoramic photos) at the KUNM website.

Listen on an iPhone
KUNM is part of the initial rollout of something called the “Public Radio Tuner.” It’s an application that runs on the iPhone that allows you to listen to KUNM and many other streaming public stations.
The Public Radio Tuner was designed by American Public Media on behalf of member stations. This is their first foray into cell phone delivery of live streams. We expect applications for other types of phones to be developed soon. The link below details how you can download the Public Radio Tuner:

There is perhaps a 35-45 second delay between our online stream and our broadcast signal. This means that what you hear online was actually broadcast 45 seconds earlier. Keep this in mind during our call-in programs.
