Sat. 3/26, 12p Women's Focus: Albuquerque Syrian-American poet and high school student, Ludella Awad, talks with Carol Boss on Women's Focus. She will read from her book, Sad Piano Music in Syria, a collection of poems about Syria and it's people, from the memories of Syria before the civil war to its destruction and the exodus of millions of refugees.

Mumbai Terrorist Attack Survivor Spreads a Message of Peace

Carol also talks with Linda Ragsdale, a woman who was in the wrong place at the wrong time and was shot by a terrorist in the 2008 Mumbai attacks. She is now on a mission, working to spread the message of peace and is doing so, in part, by writing children's books featuring Pax, the Peace Dragon.
