How does one date Planet Earth?  How old is the earth, and how do scientists figure out the age of rocks? Geochronologist, Dr. Matt Heizler from the New Mexico Bureau of Geology at New Mexico Tech answers all these questions and many more, including how moon dust is involved in increasing our understanding.
