Volunteer at KUNM
Volunteer!
We have many volunteer opportunities from time to time, including phone room needs for KUNM's Spring fundraiser, Saturday, March 28 through Friday, April 3, 2009. Contact Rachel Kaub (505-277-4516) if you can help.
We're also recruiting volunteers (KUNM Docents) to cover the reception desk, greet visitors, give tours and more.
On-air hosting, assisting local hosts of various programs, music programming, production, including radio theatre, digital recording, answering phones, mailing and distribution are just a few of the functions that make up KUNM community radio.
The prerequisite for becoming a KUNM volunteer? Enthusiasm, diligence and a willingness to give to your community! No experience? No problem. Take part and take pride in serving your community radio station, KUNM!
Rachel Kaub is our Operations Manager. You can email her for details about becoming a KUNM volunteer, or to ask about attending the next General Orientation on Sunday, July 12, 2009, from 2 until 3:30 p.m.
(The General Orientation is an introduction for anyone interested in volunteering at KUNM. Once you have been selected for particular duties at KUNM, we will provide any training required for you to succeed in your new position.)
