The New Mexico Environment Department intends to approve, pending public input, to change the corrective action status of two Solid Waste Management Units (SWMUs 86 ad 87) from "Corrective Action Required" to "Corrective Action Complete with Controls" in the White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Hazardous Waste Permit. The 60-day comment period begins on January 30th and ends at 5:00 PM on March 31st, 2026.
