IPCC Family Story Time

IPCC Family Story Time

Family Story Time at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center library is a chance for children and families to gather, share stories and activities relating to Native American culture, history, and storytelling traditions.

Join us at 1PM on August 23rd at the IPCC Library to read Coyote and the Sky: How the Sun, Moon and Stars Began by Emmett Shkeme Garcia. Writing for the younger reader, Emmett Shkeme Garcia, a member of the Santa Ana tribe, shares his Pueblo’s story of the beginnings of the stars and constellations. Victoria Pringle’s illustrations provide visual elements that enhance the action of the story.
