Wielding the Sun Dagger: Air Force Research Laboratory Contributions to Science & Technology
Come on a journey through the surprisingly local Albuquerque history of ray guns and starships. Dr. Darren Raspa of the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL), will discuss the evolution of the AFRL from its rise to prominence after the atomic bombings in 1945 to its modern iteration and technological innovations in New Mexico.
Join us on Friday, October 27 at the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History. Doors open at 5:30 pm The presentation begins at 6:00 pm and ends at 7:00 pm.
Admission is $10 per person, and you must be 21 years to attend. Admission will provide each guest with one beer ticket. Guests can purchase additional drinks. IDs are required. Please drink responsibly. Event tickets can be purchased in advance below, or they can be purchased the night of the event at the door. Please email us with any questions.
