Our guests on University Showcase are Independent Producer Megan Kamerick, Curator Wendy Grossman, and Luanne McKinnon, Director of the UNM Art Museum.
Man Ray was an American artist, who worked most of his life in Paris and helped foster the early modernist taste for African art. The show includes 60 of his photos, many never exhibited before, and another 40 photos by Man Ray's contemporaries, including Cecil Beaton, Walker Evans and Alfred Stieglitz.
Megan Kamerick talks with the exhibit's curator, Wendy Grossman, about Man Ray's legacy and how the meaning of objects can change dramatically, depending on how they are photographed.
