  Thu. 10/16 12p:  We'll take a brief look at the work of saxophonist Gary Bartz --- as well as a peek at a new release on Nessa Records of Bobby Bradford music --- and finally, a short set of 4 rare tracks of LennieTristano (I've been wanting to pull these tracks together in one spot and make them available to archivists and historians) ---- one of the coolest things about jazz radio is the connections, how one track somehow relates to the next track, all the while avoiding the presumption that you (the deejay) is orchestrating some grand symphony (I don't use other's work to put forward such notions).
