Thu. 3/01 11a: Today the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs is scheduled to open the floor to a discussion on protecting sacred places, religious freedom and ancestral remains.
They are lending an ear to hear what’s going on in terms of these items. So as a congressional arm lends an ear, just what is the status in your tribal community? What is the temperature of protecting sacred sites? And just how does that play into your religious freedom?
Guests include San Francisco Peaks advocate Klee Benally (Navajo).
