Lisala Folau told a local broadcaster about his swimming journey, which lasted more than a day and took him to three islands. Social media users hearing his story are calling him "real-life Aquaman."
A Philadelphia house fire killed 13 people, including 7 children

Republicans have the advantage with voters in 2022 elections, poll finds
Of voters surveyed, 47% said they are more likely to vote for the Republican in their district, as opposed to 44% who said Democrats. The GOP is also favored on a raft of issues.
A tornado in Kansas injured several people and damaged multiple buildings
In addition to wreckage from the tornado itself, three meteorology students traveling back from storm chasing in Kansas were killed in a crash. The twister knocked out power for over 15,000 people.
Moderna requests FDA authorization for its COVID vaccine for very young kids
Moderna announced Thursday that the company has asked the Food and Drug Administration to authorize a low-dose version of its COVID-19 vaccine as the first vaccine for children younger than age 5.

Pakistan Hardest Hit by Earthquake

American pickle legend Robert J. Vlasic has died at age 96
Robert J. Vlasic died at his home earlier this month at age 96. The businessman helped grow Vlasic into America's number-one pickle by not taking himself, or the company, too seriously.
