September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Childhood cancer remains the leading cause of death by disease among children in the United States. Despite this, childhood cancer research is desperately underfunded and funding for rare pediatric cancers is nonexistent. Last year, forty-eight children were diagnosed with cancer in NM.

Let's come together to raise awareness about childhood cancer and save lives by giving blood. New Mexico is facing a critical blood shortage. We can help change that!
