Come share an intimate afternoon of original songs, at a house concert hosted by the cozy Red Horse Bed and Breakfast of original songs by the duo, Heartstrings. Singer-Songwriter, anthropologist and world traveler, Kristina Jacobsen, will share some of her newest songs, written in Spanish and English while she walked the storied “Camino” in northern Spain. She will share the stage with Appalachian fiddler, Dair Obenshain, ahead of the duo’s feature performance for the Annual Gathering of Pilgrims in Hunt, Texas in March.

"Heartstrings" is the duo of Kristina Jacobsen and Dair Obenshain, sharing their joy, music and love for many languages through the combination of poetic lyrical songs, melodious vocal harmonies, dancing fiddle lines, and driving Appalachian rhythms. Kristina interprets her own songs as well as timeless gems of the folk and country traditions with sass, sparkle and passion, supported by Dair’s harmonies and melodic commentary on both voice and fiddle (violin). The twang you hear? That’s your own heartstrings, resonating with the joys, delights, sorrows and harmonies of our shared humanity.
Directly following the show, guests are invited across the street to Kristina's house to enjoy a glass of Spanish wine and cheeses from the region and to enjoy a moment of camaraderie with the musicians.

Suggested donation is $20 including one complimentary glass of wine. Proceeds from this show will go to support Heartstrings' upcoming tour in Italy in June 2024.
