Sat. 8/4, 3p: An interview with Charlotte -who fled from Honduras-, and Nakai -an activist and doctoral candidate at Harvard University- about the 2018 Transgender Caravan of asylum seekers coming from Central America to the US. This group was part of the larger "Via Crucis Migrante 2018", that was severely threatened repeatedly by the Trump Administion, which began in Chiapas (Mexico) in March and along the way protested in numerous Mexican counties and cities. Charlotte was just released from the Cibola County Detention Center (Milan, NM) and Nakai (Diversidad Sin Fronteras) was one of the organizers of the Caravan (both interviewees used pseudonyms). They recount how they survived the obstacles and difficulties during their journey to the USA.

Esta caravana fue parte de la Caravana Via Crucis Migrante 2018 que fuera amenazada repetidamente por la Administración Trump. Charlotte fue recientemente liberada del Centro de Detención del Condado de Cibola (Milan, NM) y Nakai (Diversidad Sin Fronteras) fue una de las organizadoras de esta caravana. Ellas nos cuentan cómo se organizaron y cómo sobrevivieron a los obstáculos y las dificultades en su travesía (ambas entrevistadas usaron seudónimos).
