As a young UCLA law school graduate, Antoinette Sedillo Lopez, clerked in Ruth Bader Ginsburg's D.C. office-"that was why I was so into women and the law, because of her....It was her first gig, her first judicial court...It was incredible." Currently serving as a Senator in the New Mexico legislature and retired as a UNM law professor, Sedillo Lopez is remembering and "just trying to carry on her legacy."
