Romney: Obama's Health Care Mandate Is A Tax
Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney spent his July Fourth holiday marching in a New Hampshire parade. He also backtracked on a top adviser's statement calling the individual mandate in the Obama health care law a fee or a fine. Romney says the Supreme Court ruled that it's a tax.

The former head of the bank Bob Diamond apologized for "reprehensible behavior" in testimony before a British parliamentary committee Wednesday. But he complained the bank had been unfairly singled out for manipulating banking loan interest rates.

VA Hospital Recruits Mental Health Providers
A Department of Veterans Affairs hospital in Milwaukee has begun recruiting for additional mental health providers. It's part of a nationwide effort to bring on about 1,600 new psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers to reduce wait times for treatment.

Romney Says Mandate's A Tax, But Also Sides With Justices Who Say It's Not
The GOP presidential candidate says the 2010 health care overhaul's mandate on Americans to buy health care insurance comes with a tax because that's what the Supreme Court ruled. But he also agrees with justices who use the word "penalty" instead.
