TradiSon is the house band at Havana’s La Bodeguita del Medio restaurant, famous for its mojitos and its storied clientele, including Ernest Hemingway and Pablo Neruda.  They play the style of Cuban music known as ‘son’ - a traditional style that combines Afro-Cuban rhythms with Spanish melodies. TradiSon consists of a singer, a stand-up bass player, a percussionist, and two guitarists playing the small Cuban guitar or ‘tres,’ They performed for the first time in the United States at the 2010 Santa Fe International Folk Art Market.
