Wed. 7/6 at 830am: This culminating episode of Watersheds As Commons features commentary from some of the series' most clear-minded thinkers on what it will take for our species to live sustainably, and transcend the array of problems that have occurred since the advent of the industrial revolution over two centuries ago.
On "Watersheds As Commons," we present our final program in this series. In our earlier 13 programs, we heard from dozens of people from different native cultures indigenous to the American Southwest, as well as from writers, scientists, lawyers, environmentalists, ranchers and others who recognize that our species may now exceed the human carrying capacity of our planet, certainly within the context of global economic and political practices.
