Peace Talks Radio: The Series on Peacemaking and Nonviolent Conflict Resolution

Fri. 08/28/15 8a: Guests include Charles Howlett, PhD., associate professor of education at Molloy College in New York state and co-author of Books, Not Bombs: Teaching Peace since the Dawn of the Republic.  Also Albuquerque school psychologist Leverett Millen who is proposing a Peace Studies curriculum at West Mesa High School.  Some of his former “Peace Club” students at West Mesa will join us as well.  And author James Bianchini, who rode solo on a tandem bicycle through 81 countries, inviting more than 1,000 strangers to jump on and share the adventure. He talks about his effort to foster peace and raise funds for good causes in some of the countries he visited.
