Manuel’s Food Market was founded in 1924 by Manuel Sanchez, and has remained family owned and operated ever since. We are in the process of renovating our historic grocer, and plan to reopen by Spring of 2026. The mission of Manuel’s Food Market (MFM) is to: build and nurture community, serve as a meeting place for our neighborhood, introduce healthy lifestyle choices for youth and community, and to support continuing education to build skills for local regeneration. Our objectives are to nurture and build a healthy community through partnering with local farmers to bring local, high quality produce to the store.  MFM collaborates to create partnerships to strengthen and regenerate the Martineztown community, where traditional skills can be learned and passed on to fuel resilience in the community.
