NM Folk Dance and Music Society will host a Family Dance, Saturday April 26th, 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Family Dances draw from contra, circle, reels, and other traditional group dances, are set to live music from local bands, and include easy instruction from a dance leader. Family Dances are for all ages and generations, creating a special event where children and families can enjoy movement and music together. Baby-wearing friendly! No experience need to have fun!

Katherine Bueler will join us for the first time to call the family dance and brings years of community and contra dance calling experience. The Turquoise Tuners will play their signature upbeat fun-filled live music. Please note that Family Dances are roughly quarterly this year so don't miss out! Adults are $10 and Children are FREE; children must be accompanied by an adult.
