The Second Saturday Community CoffeeHouse -- at Unity Spiritual Center of Albuquerque, 9800 Candelaria NE -- brings live local music to a family-friendly listening room environment, complete with special blend coffee and tasty snacks—for free!

Headlining for August 13 is Kristina Jacobsen with her original soulful compositions that explore family ties in Folk, Americana and Country style. Hailing from Great Barrington, Mass., she played country music in a Navajo family band and went on to become a Ph.D. ethnomusicologist and leader of an all –female honky-tonk band, and has recorded one album, Three Roses.

Opening is Jacques Dorier, raised in France and is a musical storyteller with emotionally-charged tales about fictitious ad real characters offered in a variety of musical styles.
