Did I say it was huge! After over 20 years of grueling, hard work, former AT&SF 2926 is again having its annual Open House. Come experience steam locomotive and New Mexico history. Come for the free hot dogs and soda (donations are welcome!), tour the locomotive, listen to live music, see model railroad layouts, talk to other professional railroad groups, and whatever else we can think of. By legislative proclamation, 2926 is New Mexico's Official Steam Locomotive! We hold our Open House to promote public awareness and advance our goal of running tourist excursions from Albuquerque to Las Vegas, NM.
