By attending the Taos Open Studio Tour, you not only get to see a wide range of art by independent artists; you also have the fun of seeing the real Taos beyond the Plaza or Ski Valley. Just follow the tour map down unnamed dirt roads you never knew were public, peek inside romantic old adobe structures where some artists have their studios, and view work by many talented artists not represented by galleries in the center of town. Several artists on the tour will be offering live demonstrations all weekend and all of them will be providing a behind-the-scenes glimpse into what inspires their work.
